Since the Aran class is coming to maplesea soon, here's a little guide/intro which might be useful

INTRODUCTION


After creating a character, you will become Level 200. It's a flash back actually to show you what happened to "you" in the past. That part is easy.

1. Follow the arrow signs (and space bars) and leave the tent.
2. Talk to Helena at the right near the gigantic boat.
3. Walk to your left and enter the portals.
(The next 3 maps are full of monsters. They are for you to practice your combos.)
4. Keep walking until you see an NPC. Speak to him.
5. He will disappear and appear on your back after your speech. Return to Helena. This time, all the monsters will be gone and Helena will already be on the ship.
6. Speak with Helena. She will let you watch a "movie". The movie is basically about how you fought the Black Magician which resulted in you being sealed in ice (i forgot what happened to the Black Magician though)

THE REAL START 1.1


After the movie, the real adventures begin. You will appear in an ice-themed map.

1. Talk to Lilin. She will bring you to the start of the tutorial.
2. Speak with the first penguin. Drink the Red Potion it gives you. Speak to it again. (Quest Complete) Continue to the next map.
3. Speak with the first penguin. Move to your left and speak with the second penguin. (Quest Complete) Continue to the next map.
3. Speak with the first penguin. Kill 3무루 (Muru). Speak to it again. (Quest Complete) Continue to the next map.
4. Speak with the first penguin. Hit the boxes and get the required pieces to make the chair. Speak to it again. (Quest Complete) You will obtain a Bamboo Relaxer. Continue to the next map.
5. Enter the portal again.
6. Speak with Lilin in town.
7. Complete her quiz. (Quest Complete)

THE REAL START 1.2



1. Kill 10무루파 (Murupa) and return to her. (Quest Complete)
2. Kill 15무루피아 (Murupia) and return to her. (Quest Complete)
3. Kill 20무루무루 (Murumuru) and return to her. (Quest Complete)
4. Kill 3무루쿤 (Murukun) and return to her. (Quest Complete)

Becoming An Aran




Speak with the Giant Axe just beside her. Congratulations! You are now an Aran!

You will get a medal from the Giant Axe (like the Cygnus one). Speak with Lilin to get the polearm and proceed to the training grounds to find the training instructor.

1. Speak with the Penguin Instructor.
2. Kill 30 Slimes for Training and return to him. (Quest Complete)
3. Kill 30 Orange Mushrooms for Training and return to him. (Quest Complete)
4. Kill 30 Pigs for Training and return to him. (Quest Complete)
(After completing Pigs for Training quest, you get a new skill - Polearm Combo)
